Ben Evory is an LA-based writer and director from Appalachia Ohio. His latest short, The Flamingos on the Wall, premiered at NewFest 2025.
Previous work includes Sheltered, a 5-episode digital series that premiered in full at Atlanta Film Festival (2023). The screenplay was recognized with a 2022 Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award and a sound mixing residency at the Wexner Center for the Arts.
Ben production office managed for Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar, the Academy-Award winning documentarians behind American Factory (Netflix, 2020). He was the director’s assistant to Nicole Riegel on her sophomore feature Dandelion (IFC, 2024).
