Ben Evory is a narrative screenwriter and director from Appalachia Ohio. His films explore themes of protestantism, queer identity, and the meaning of home. He received his BFA in Motion Picture Production from Wright State University.
From 2019-2021, he worked as production office manager for documentarians Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar, the duo behind Dave Chappelle: This Time This Place (2021), 9to5: The Story of a Movement (2021) and the Academy-Award winning American Factory (2020).
Currently, he is in post-production on the web series SHELTERED, set in his hometown. shelteredtheseries.com
