Ben Evory is a narrative screenwriter and director from southeastern Ohio. His short films explore themes of evangelicalism, queer identity, and the meaning of home. He received his BFA in Motion Picture Production from Wright State University.
From 2019-2021, he was the production office manager for documentarians Julia Reichert and Steven Bognar, the duo behind Dave Chappelle: This Time This Place (2021), 9to5: The Story of a Movement (2021) and the Academy-Award winning American Factory (2020).
Currently, he is in pre-production on his web series SHELTERED, set in southeastern Ohio.
